Inniskillin Icewine, recognized as one of the world's great wines, is truly winter's gift to wine lovers. Harvested at the pinnacle of Canada's crisp winter, the grapes are naturally frozen on the vine and picked when the temperature drops to -10°C. Only a few drops of luscious nectar can be squeezed from each bunch, which is then expertly guided through fermentation to achieve this rich and alluring specialty wine known as Icewine. This very unique wine has been crafted with Cabernet Franc grapes frozen naturally on the vine using the charmat method. Primary fermentation occurs in a sealed vessel trapping the naturally occurring bubbles. Cabernet Franc Icewine show characteristics of raspberry, strawberry and rhubarb. The palate follows through with a very delicate but lively effervescence balanced with crisp acidity giving a drier sensation to this limited edition Icewine.
