Everyone at The Balvenie has a unique story to tell. The story of how Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE came to create The Balvenie Classic is forever immortalised in The Creation of a Classic (43% ABV) single malt Scotch whisky, an exclusive release from The Balvenie Stories collection.
The liquid is rich with lively aromas, malty undertones and a perfect balance of light oatmeal sweetness, brittle toffee and dry oak. Available in a 70cl bottle held within a presentation tube, ready for gifting.
Nose: Aromatic and lively, aromas of vanilla and spice evocative of dried clove and chai are layered on a base of earthly, malty undertones reminiscent of Balvenie’s own barley loft.
Taste: A perfect complement of light oatmeal syrupiness and brittle toffee are followed by delicate hints of spice and a rich, drying sensation from European oak.
Finish: Lingering, lasting dry oak
