From the Talisker distillery on the western isle of Skye comes this rather exciting release: Talisker Surge! This whisky, from its labelling to its flavour profile, invokes the elemental stormy forces that shape Skye and the Talisker distillery. Surge features whiskies of differing ages that have been matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks. Offers lots of that great peat smoke with plenty of sweet maritime notes and some sweetness.

Tasting Notes: The palate has notes of brioche sweetness, banoffee pie, tinned peaches, sweet maritime notes, fresh ginger zest, oak smoke, and peppery spice.” It concludes with hot chilli spice and cracked black pepper, fading into a waft of distant smoke from the embers of a beach bonfire with a faint hint of toasted marshmallow on the finish.

ABV%: 45.8%

We have two signs posted collection points; one in the International Duty Free Store and a second collection point at the Transborder Duty Free store after you have cleared customs.
