This blended scotch features Miltonduff, Balblair, Glenburgie and Old Pulteney as base malts. Ballantine’s 12 year-old is a premium blend that is mellow and complex. It is the result of a selection and combination of 40 malt and grain whiskies aged 12 years and over. Launched in the 1950s, Ballantine’s 12 year-old is recognised as an international reference in premium Scotch whiskies.
Boasting a golden hue with glints of amber, the nose reveals notes of honey, fruits and iodine. The palate is creamy and chocolatey, with notes of sherry gradually developing. The finish is short and slightly smoky: perfect as an aperitif.

TASTING NOTES
Nose : Honeyed sweetness, major influences of oak and vanilla.
Palate : Complex, floral, the sweetness of honey and oak, perfectly balanced. Creamy.
Overall : Refreshing with a hint of salt.
